Fairness and transparency, there are too many shay operations that go under the radar.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Email check, coffee, work, coffee, more work, lunch, bit more work, cup of tea, last bit of work, wine!
What would people never guess you do in your role?
That I visit my sites incognito to get a feel for how a building functions and how busy it is.
What did you want to be when growing up?
An air hostess (and yes that is the terminology from the 80’s!).
If you could witness any historical event, what would you see?
Too many to choose! Maybe coronation of Queen Elizabeth II or construction of the pyramids.
What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?
Just getting outside, reconnecting with what’s really important and taking joy in what’s around me.
What’s your personal mantra?
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! My family motto is ‘waste not, want not’.
What inspires you?
Setting an example. Whether that be to my colleagues or children. I want to say that I did the best I could.
