We are officially a Living Wage Employer
As we continue to develop and build the Optimised Group as a place to work, one of our main focuses has been to bring the accreditations from our 3 individual businesses across the Group. With Optimised Energy already being a Living Wage Employer, we endeavoured to align our remaining two organisations with the certification.
The process was a case of establishing the hourly rate of each employee, identifying those who were under the real living wage amount, and increasing salaries for those who were under. This was then followed by pinpointing those within our supply chain who may need to be brought inline.
Following the months of work to bring the Group in line with Living Wage, Megan Kelsall, Group HR Advisor, said:
“As a business it is extremely important to us to make sure that our employees are paid a fair wage, and so by being able to take the Optimised Group through the Living Wage accreditation process, it really solidifies the fact that our employees are what makes our business so successful.”
