In 2019 the Government commissioned a review of the current Climate Change Agreement Scheme with the finding giving rise to the Chancellor’s announcement in the Spring 20 Budget of a
scheme extension, and a proposed
Target Period 5
(2021 – 2022) with CCL relief extending up to
31 March 2025.
The consultation report was published online with the BEIS holding a webinar in May 2020 explaining the proposed details and opening up the opportunity for sectors, operators, consultancies and anyone else to respond before issuing final guidance.
Mark Earnshaw
has produced a document that summarises the Government’s decisions in response to the consultation after receiving comments. There are still some issues to be resolved and deadlines have been extended due to Covid-19 to allow for completeness. Download the document to find out more.
